How do we handle duplicate-logs on ladder(esp for KR and TW)

Recently, we found a lot duplicate logs on the ladder(guild or actor ladder) and most of them came from Korean and Taiwan(and a little in EU).

I could hardly understand why should upload the same logs into two or more different guild.And "personal log" or "private log" could be used for pug team if you really wanna analyse them.

So we begin to lock the account and guild which upload those logs make our ladder mass.

We always lock the guild with higher guild id and you have one or two weeks to complain to us how could this happen or what's the base requirement of this kind of action to unlock the guild and account or we would delete the guild and all the logs in the guild forever.

Please kind keep in your mind that uploading the logs into the correct guild is high appreciated by us!

I don't like the idea of locking. The primary use of logs should be for assessing performance. I upload my logs to a personal account, and my guild also uploads a copy.. I don't want to make them private. What about a checkbox option option on public logs of 'do not include in ladder' so those of us that want to upload extra copies don't have to worry about getting locked?

I, my self is a korean, am saying behalf of Korean user. We have an unique PUG recrute system which can be described by Gold Auction. We see diffrent members everytime, barely talk. Nobody knows who's going to upload the combatlog. could been two, could been three or just me.
Of course we didn't want to mass the ladder on purpose. Just didn't know that overload thing.
Locking account is really harsh. I'll spread this issue over korean sites.

BTW, I like Loralise's idea. If someone wants to challenge the ladder, make that person to check the box and upload.

let's try to see it more in detail:

1.If you are in a guild as a uploader

You can upload any logs, even pug logs into guild as public and marked as "pug" in suborgs

2.If you wanna upload the same logs as a copy

Just mark it as "private" or "personal"

I could not understand a private log would make you so trouble.You can still share the link to others, there is no limitation.

3.If you just wanna upload the logs as pug one within no guild

we have suggested you could upload it as a personal log, it would be not be listed on ladder, we have the option on profile page.You can still share the link to others, there is no limitation.

4.If you think multi-pug members would upload the logs

You could just mark your logs as personal and we would handle others

And yes, we would limit all "unreal" guild soon

Any more exceptions you need upload duplicate logs as public?

We have tried to be not too harsh, but so sorry and till now, we still think this is the best way we could keep ladder more lustration(we did it on hands)
